What Does Bomber Do?
Bomber is a ranged, ground-only troop that lobs a skull-shaped projectile dealing area damage on impact. His splash radius makes him excellent at wiping out cheap swarm troops standing close together, all for a very low Elixir cost.
The tradeoff is his hitpoints - he's one of the most fragile troops in the game, so anything that reaches him before he lands a hit, or survives his splash, can usually finish him off in return.

Bomber is a cheap, efficient defensive answer to ground swarms, and cheap enough to slot into almost any deck without disrupting its Elixir curve or cycle speed.
How to Counter Bomber
Air troops bypass him entirely, since he can't target them at all. On the ground, his very low hitpoints mean nearly any troop that closes the distance can trade with him favorably.
