What Does Poison Do?
Poison creates a lingering damage area that hits both ground and air targets over time. The damage ticks down as the effect goes on, dealing more damage in its earlier ticks than its later ones. On top of the damage, any troop standing inside the area has its movement and attack speed slowed.
That combination of sustained damage and slow makes Poison especially effective against groups of troops or spawner buildings, since it keeps dealing damage as new units appear inside the affected area.
