What Does Graveyard Do?
Graveyard is cast directly on a location rather than walking there like a troop, which is what makes it dangerous - it can be dropped right on the tower itself. After a short delay, it spawns a steady stream of Skeletons at random spots within its radius over roughly 10 seconds, rather than all at once.
The unpredictability is the point: individually the Skeletons are frail and easy to kill, but their staggered, scattered spawning makes them awkward to clean up completely, and whatever gets through adds up over the full 10-second window.
How to Counter Graveyard
Splash damage is the standard answer - Valkyrie, Witch, Wizard, or Executioner can clear multiple Skeletons at once as they spawn, keeping the total damage minimal.
Poison specifically is considered the hardest counter, since its lingering area damage kills Skeletons the instant they appear rather than needing to react to each one individually.
