What Does Hero Wizard Do?
Hero Wizard's ability is Fiery Flight. After a short delay, he takes to the air for 5 seconds, becoming an airborne unit for that window - untargetable by ground-only troops and spells - while also moving noticeably faster.
While flying, each fireball he throws creates its own fire tornado on impact, dealing extra splash damage across multiple ticks and pulling nearby enemy troops together, which can set up follow-up hits on grouped targets. Timed well, the flight window is also a strong way to dodge a ground-only threat sent specifically to remove him.

Hero Wizard launched in Season 79, "Fire and Ice," in January 2026, alongside Hero Ice Golem, as that season's main Pass Royale Hero.
How do you unlock Hero Wizard?
Collect 200 Hero Fragments. He was originally the core reward on Season 79's premium Pass Royale, later added to Hero Summons, and is now also available through the Hero Shop for 200 Hero Coins.
